ABOUT HEXAGON HEALTH

Hexagon Health is a professional Nutritionist and Health Coach who specialises in lifestyle medicine. Here at Hexagon Health we follow the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine as described by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. These pillars are based on nutrition, physical activity, stress management, sleep, social connections and avoidance of risky substances.  Committed to forming relationships with clients looking to implement and reinforce these 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine, Hexagon Health is always there for guidance.

Meet your Nutritionist and Health Coach:

Hexagon Health is founded by Tristen Oosthuizen who is a qualified Sports Nutritionist, Health Coach and soon to be a registered Clinical Nutritionist. Through the course of his studies, he has gained an in depth knowledge of how the human body operates and developed a love for nutritional science. He believes that following the 6 Pillars of Lifestyle Medicine is the key for living a more meaningful and healthy life. 

 

Tristen developed a love for sport in his early childhood years and has done various types of sport, such as; athletics, rugby, cricket, obstacle course racing and trail running. He's current sport is CrossFit and had the opportunity to compete at New Zealand Nationals in 2022. Through his studies and by participating in these various sports, he has gained an understanding of how critical nutrition is to fuel and recover appropriately.
